Promoting your project

If you have received funding through the Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) programme, publicity is a great way to highlight the positive impact your project is having on nature, climate, heritage and local communities.

Project news and publicity

We would encourage you to promote project milestones and achievements. This can be in different ways, such as:

  • Websites and blogs
  • Newsletters
  • Social media
  • Press releases and interviews
  • Events and promotional materials

Where possible, include photographs to help bring your project to life.

Acknowledging funding

Although there are no official publicity requirements, when promoting your project, we would encourage you to mention that you have received funding through Defra’s Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) programme.

You may also wish to recognise the role of Norfolk Coast National Landscape, which delivers the programme locally and supports applicants and projects across the area.

Suggested wording for websites, newsletters and other written communications:
This project has been funded by Defra through the Farming in Protected Landscapes programme, delivered locally by Norfolk Coast National Landscape.

For interviews and informal communications, mentioning that your project received FiPL funding from Defra through Norfolk Coast National Landscape can help raise awareness of the programme and the support available to local projects.

Keep in touch

Please keep us informed of any events, milestones or project achievements so that we can also share these to promote your project and celebrate successes across the area. Examples of ongoing and completed projects help show the value of FiPL funding and inspire others to apply for funding.

If you have any questions, please let us know.
